生物活性

Ferrostatin-1 (Fer-1), a potent and selective ferroptosis inhibitor, suppresses Erastin-induced ferroptosis in HT-1080 cells (EC₅₀=60 nM). Ferrostatin-1, a synthetic antioxidant, acts via a reductive mechanism to prevent damage to membrane lipids and thereby inhibits cell death. Ferrostatin-1 exhibits antifungal activity^[1]^[2]^[3].

(In Vitro)

Ferrostatin-1 可防止 erastin 诱导的细胞溶质和脂质 ROS 积累。 Ferrostatin-1 可预防器官型大鼠脑切片中glutamate诱导的神经毒性^[1]。

(In Vivo)

Ferrostatin-1（5 mg/kg；腹腔注射；单剂量，处理于甘油注射前 30 分钟）改善横纹肌溶解小鼠的肾功能，而泛半胱天冬酶抑制剂 zVAD 或 RIPK3 缺陷小鼠未观察到有益效果^[1].
Ferrostatin-1（0.8 mg/kg；尾静脉注射）有效缓解LPS诱导的急性肺损伤（ALI）^[4]。
Ferrostatin-1（5 mg/kg；腹腔注射；C57BL/6J 小鼠）改善横纹肌溶解症小鼠的肾功能^[5]。
