大型烘房的烘干工作原理与大风量热风循环烘箱相同，主要是当物料单批次要求烘干的量特别大时，应采用大型烘房集中来解决。广泛应用于中药材、农副产品、食品、肉制品、林产品、粮食、水果、蔬菜等的大批量烘干脱水。
